How to say politely...

That I have no interest in seeing my IL's this weekend, as well as next weekend. And I choose next weekend for them to come because it is shorter.

Hmm...how to say it? DH won't man up and do it so I have to take matters into my own hands I think...

Does " Look...I am hormonal...and I don't like you..." seem to harsh? I kidd...almostStick out tongue

    LOL, I spent the last week with all my IL's by Wednesday I wanted to run away.  I would say you are not feeling well and next weekend would be better.  Smile

    If you don't want to see them this weekend I would just use the pregnancy as an excuse...say you are not feeling really well and you haven't had a lot of sleep and you just really want to take it easy this weekend and be able to sleep in and get back to normal.  Say your back really kills.....or that you are having a lot of cramping...or that loud noises (fireworks, kids playing) made your migraine or headache worse.     I have the IL's showing up tomorrow for a 5 day stay. Not my choice either but DH would not man up and tell them to get a hotel. To top it off it is my birthday on the 4th.

    Thanks girls, I think I will just have to call her and say I'm feeling sick, plus I am bursting into tears for no reason at all right now, so really it wouldn't be terrible if I started crying just to push the point home.
