If we have a girl, we are naming her Isabella. I know it's really popular, but I've always loved it since I was little and can't imagine going with anything else.
For middle names, I am stuck between 2. The first is DH's great grandmother's name - Francis. Now, I'm not a huge fan of the name but we adore her, she's 94, and no one in his huge Italian family has been named after her. We thought it would be very special and a way of showing how much we love her.
However, my other choice is after my sister's middle name - Grace. She's been there for me through thick and thin during this pregnancy and is beyond excited about the baby. I know she would just be thrilled to death if we chose her middle name.
I know Isabella Francis may not be the prettiest, but it definitely holds more meaning, while Isabella Grace sounds a lot better. What do you all think?
Re: Choosing a middle name
Always go w/ meaning!
I have a cousin named Isabella Lucia (Lu - chee-a) and I love that combo.
Honestly, I like Grace better, only because I'm not a fan of the other.
I was thinking about using my 90-year old grandmother's first name June as a middle name, but it doesn't sound good with Kailtyn..Kaitlyn June, there's too many "n's" IMO. So we're scrapping it and trying to find something else. It would be neat to pass down the name, (especially since no other cousin's have used the name yet) but I'm willing to give it up to the next person in my family who might be able to use it.
