childbirth class

I called and set up our childbirth class today. We start October 14, I didn't really think I'd be excited about it but I am now I can't wait for October. Those of you that have taken it before what can i expect? This is our first, we are due December 6.

    We start ours September 30th for 6 weeks. Ours includes the tour of the hospital and baby basics since this is our first.  I'm excited too.  We are also signed up for a breastfeeding class that we take together.  We're due December 27th.

    For the class where I had DS it went over the basics of labor, breathing techniques (that everyone models in class), handouts, what the hospital normally does during a birth, and I don't remember what else.  My class was 2 evenings.

    We start our classes next Sunday -- 12 weeks long. It's the Bradley Method, so I'm really excited to learn more about it. I'll fill everyone in on my thoughts about it after our first class.?

    ours also includes the breast feeding class, hospital tour and a baby massage class. Ours is 3 hour classes one night a week for 5 weeks. We also join some VIP baby thing at our hospital that gets us free valet parking and express check in... i kind of feel like they are making it like a fancy hotel although i've seen the rooms they are very boring.?
