This is not a dig at pg teenagers

I was 18 when I got pg with DS and 19 when I delivered so don't take this as a dig. I just got back from Wal-mart and I ended up behind a pg teenager and I did not think anything og it until she went to pay and her much older friends had to takl her through using the debit machine. I was shocked. Yes I had to set up my moms surround sound and it took ages for her to learn the art of sending an e-mail, but you have to be kidding me. I had to fake looking at the magazine to stop my self from doing this Indifferent!

Her friends had to tell her when to press ok, she almost hit the cash back button until her friend stopped her and then she had to stop and think about what account. Yes I have almost hit the cash back button and had to stop and think about what account I was using again, but only because I can be a bit of an air head, not because I don't know what I am doing.

    I worked at a bank for years, and people of all ages dont know how to  use their accounts/checks/cards.  It's a mess, all around.  I once had someone tell me there was no way in he** her account was negative because she still had checks in her checkbook.  I guess if no one teaches them as they grow up it just doesnt click until someone sits down and word for word explains this stuff to them...its kind of sad really.

    It is sad and I am not defending her, but maybe she has some kind of learning disability or reading disorder??? ?I had a friend who was?severely?dyslexic?and had to have someone with him all the time when he went to the bank and did things like that because he just couldn't read the buttons and figure out what to do.

    Well in any case I don't think it was related to her age or the fact that she was pregnant.  If this was about pregnant teenagers you might mistake me for one since I look "so much younger" but I certainly know how to use a debit machine and I have little patience for people who don't.

    Yes I would have. Like I said it is not a dig about being pg teenager.
