With the playroom you did, did you just tape off random sections to get that look?? I love it and I want to brighten up TJ's playroom, this looks like a great way to do it, I just wanted to see if there was a method to your madness?
absolutely no method. yes i just took the painting tape and wherever I felt like it, put it down.
Couple problems with that: I could only do one color at once. After that color dried, I had to pick up the tape and retape. The tape I picked was very wide, so I wish I would have done a smaller width.
Also the color bled in some parts - I have no idea how to fix that. I pushed it down really well.
If I did it again, I would paint the wall all one color, and then select the areas for the "squares" and only tape those. Does that make sense?
