Progesterone results

My nurse just called with my progesterone results - 18.6.  I know that's ovulatory and a good number but I was really hoping for a higher number.  Last month I was at 31.2.  Of course that resulted in a BFN.  

Thanks IF for making me totally obsessive about everything.  Confused

    I think anything >10 on a non medicated cycle is supposed to be good, so that shows that you ovulated anyway...

    Having been on prog. supplements for the past 13 days and getting a lovely BFFN today, i can't say i'm a big supporter of the high progestrone = pregnant philosophy.  I hope i don't have to take them next cycle, they made me so sick!  And freakin' expensive too...stupid bloody insurance...

    TTC since 2008
    dx MFI March 2009, low motility and low morph
    dx Stage I/II endometriosis September 2009.
    Multiple failed clomid, injecitble and IUI cycles
    IVF #1 Janaury 2011: 28 retrieved, 22 fert normally
    5dt of two beautiful blasts (6 frozen)
    BFP 2/10/2011 (holy cow!!!)
    1st u/s 2/24: 2 gestational sacs, it's twins! Only 1 heartbeat, Baby A, 110 BPM
    2nd u/s 2/28: 2 heartbeats! It's twins!
    3rd u/s 3/7: Lost Baby B :-( Baby A looking good.

    I know you're both right and don't get me wrong - I'm happy with the number.  I'll just keep waiting and hoping for a BFP.
