Given the BostonMama Drama and everyone's assumption that the stalker probably got her H's e-mail from Facebook, what does that make you think of FB??[Poll]
I don't have a facebook with my real info, but it DOES have my real friend's info...so I am not worried about my personal security, but I also don't think people can see any of your sh!t f it's private, right? and I sure don't befriend any random clowns...
Or I am totally wrong.
I don't like the goofiness of facebook.it is too spazzy.
I just deleted everyone from the Nest from my FB page. I was already kind of nervous about it, and changed my FB name about a week ago so it doesn't have my last name, but the fact that it suggests you as friends to other people you may/may not be able to trust is a little risky, given the circumstances...so no offense to anyone I deleted, b/c it's not that I don't trust YOU, but I'm not comfortable having that info out there anymore.

ditto, but I haven't changed my name...maybe I'll do that too.
Q: if it suggests you as a potential friend to someone else, don't you still have to approve their viewing of your business? or no?
I think so, but it still gives your first & last name...so if someone recognized the pic from here and then got a first & last name to go with it, they could probably get other info using google or something.
I try to pick my friends wisely. My husband doesn't have an account, he thinks FB is dumb. I like it because it has enabled me to get back in touch with old friends from 10+ years ago that I would never have crossed paths with.
I did just cut my husband's cousin who was being a snatch about me making one comment about my baby kicking me in the ribs, and how it was painful. She said if I was going to complain about being pregnant, then I should never have gotten pregnant in the first place....That me making a complaint like that sends a message to the baby that she's being an inconvenience to me...How Rude!!! She called her comments, "tough love coming from a family member" Tough love my ass! I don't need that coming from someone who I've only met twice in my life.
