Mine is to practice patience and try at all costs to stay calm in situations that used to otherwise get me all riled up. I know that, right now, whatever I'm feeling, the baby is also feeling, which is why I'd like to stay calm during pregnancy. And later, after he/she is born, I will want to remain calm under pressure and practice patience, which has not always been my string suit. My dog is good practice for this - she's a very stubborn, mischevious Bassett Hound and she tests my patience A LOT. So I've been trying to be more calm and patient when she pisses me off.
To stop complaining so much about everything that aches from being pregnant. It's a bad habit.
Non-Pregnancy Related Resolution: To stop getting so annoyed with my dumb co-worker. I can't stand that she is a chain smoker and sounds like a seal being strangled in the morning...or how she smells like an ashtray when she walks by my cubicle. I really need to ignore her somehow.
My resolution is to keep my closet clean and keep my crap off the floor at least until the baby comes. I just spent 6 hours cleaning it out and it was definitely not fun. Plus, I'm afraid that in a few weeks I won't be able to bend and unbend as easily as now.
To work on keeping our apartment neater and cleaner. We just moved a month ago, so that's been good motivation too. If I don't get into better habits now, I know I have no hope once he comes!
"For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever."
Re: Poll: What's your pregnancy resolution?

Why do swear words seem to flow so nicely in regular conversation? ugh
