Who Wants to Meet Me at Disney in about 5 years, 10 months?

So I"m the Queen of random savings plans... DH could attest to this.  Generally, I always take out 40 bucks in cash each Sunday use it for drive thru sodas on a daily basis.  I never keep the exact change (the large mcd's soda is 1.07) and I put the .93 cents in my change saver.  I always save all my spare change, and I drop the leftover cash in the big water bottle bucket I have at the end of the week.  This means I usually average at least 20 bucks of savings a week.  I put it all in one of those giant water bottles that dispense water cooler water....

I did the math.  If I actually save the change/dollars from now until my phantom baby's 5th birthday I will have at least $6032.00 in savings for a vacation.  I am taking my phantom baby to Disney.... even with inflation I'll have plenty.

Ok, so I"m a goober of a planner... but it makes me feel better.  Anyone want to join me... we can get a group rate:)  te he.

    You are awesome... I stink at saving but I think you and DH are twins seperated at birth!

    We have an Absolulte Vodka bottle that we put our change it. It's great! It would be nice to use it for something fun like Disney....hmmmm.

    OK, so we're on for Orlando in 2010.  I'll be checking in on your savings accounts regularly:)  The change saving really adds up.  I bet we'll actually have close to 10 grand... which means I'll buy a round of drinks for everyoneWink

    DH tried to save his coins, but I always stole the quarters for parking money Devil He caught me though so now he doesn't throw his change in there and instead keep them in his pants pockets to later be found in the wash!

    I think you mean on for Orlando 2015...that is 5 years from now..Next year is already 2010....

    Ummm, heck YES I am in! DH and I love Disney too...hence our Disneyland annual passes and our Disney World/Disney Cruise trip this week. I think we may be the only childless people there... Confused
