Will DH paint your toes for you?

I asked mine to do it last night, it's uncomfortable for me to do it. He didn't really like the idea of it.

    He would, but I have a feeling he would get more on my feet then on the actual nails.

    I can sympathize....we are on a budget and my husband asked me if I could paint my own toes instead of getting pedicures! I asked him if he was CRAZY!!! I can barely tie my own shoes!

    DH will probably kill me for telling you all, but yes he has been painting my toes!  Surprise He is doing a great job too, I might add!

    I asked and he did a clear top coat. He really would have messed up if it was any actual color. When he was done he was so proud of himself. Wink

    He probably would if I nagged him about it enough, but I'd rather go & get a pedicure so I don't say anything to him about it at all. Smile

    I've been getting pedicures for the past month because I can't reach either. He would do it for me but I'm sure he would make a mess, lol.

    Yes, he will, and he has earlier in the pregnancy.  In fact I plan on asking him again tonight since I don't want to spend the money on a professional pedicure.  But, he's not that good... decent, gets the job done, but I can be picky about my appearance so I just try not to look too closely at them LOL. 

    BTW, the way I got my DH keen on the idea of painting my toe nails is the way I described it- he's a big car guy, so I described it as "doing a touch-up paint job on a precious Camaro" (or whatever your DH's fave car is).  I think it made it sound more technical and practical for him, rather than a girly cosmetic thing.  LOL!

    He offered when he saw me struggling.  I took him up on it and he did a great job.  I am a lucky girl : )

    I have not asked DH to paint my toenails but he has clipped them for me several times :)

    My DH paints my toenails for me but I have to clean them up afterwords. Its a hell of a lot quicker to clean them up then paint them anyhow so he saves me the pain of being bend over for so long.

    Same here.  Just go get a pedi, that is what I have been doing every couple of weeks.

    I can still reach if I sit on the toilet with my feet against the tub... but DH has before and would do it again if I asked.  And he's really good!

    Fortunately I can still do my own, so he does not have to. If I couldn't, I think I would just get a pedicure. Lol, I think there would be more polish on my toes then my actual nails if he attempted to do it for me.

    mine said no but he took what I had off after some begging. He said to have one of my friends do it some I'm just going to go get a pedicure.

    I know he would happily do it for me, but I would rather him not haha.  He's not very coordinated when it comes to that kind of thing... if he can't color within the lines then I'm not trusting him with my toes :)

    Actually... YES! He loves to paint my nails. He will massage my feet with lotion and then do my nails. While I'm pregnant and when I'm not pregnant. :o) He also likes to brush my hair. It's his way of taking care of me.

    Go treat yourself to a pedicure! :)

    DH actually offers, but I'm not for the whole touching my feet thing. I hate to have to ask him just to put lotion on my feet. eww

    wow I feel so lucky! My DH did this for my before my sister's wedding a few weeks ago and he did a great job! I picked a light color that wouldn't show up too much if he got it on my skin but he really did a good job...he tried to get me in for a pedicure but the only girl that I let touch my feet at my nail place is only working one day a week this summer (who does that anyway!!?).

    If I begged a whole lot...he'd probably call one of my girlfriends over to do it!  I'm not sure I'd want him to do it anyway - no attention to detail :-)

    nope, but I get regular pedicures and now that I am off work I can go in the middle of the week and get the special mani/pedi for $25

    Mine paints mine for me:)  I was having too much trouble by myself.  He thought he would do a terriable job...but turns out he's pretty good at it!

    He's offered to do this and lots of foot massages but the thought of someone touching my feet just grosses me out - it always has.

    My DH has no problem helping me with things like that but I just prefer to go get a pedicure.
