As my maiden name was spelled Landin, it seems silly to spell it Landon. DH and I are both leaning towards Brynn Landin, so I wouldn't be changing the spelling at all.
We are 90% sure that it's a girl...I work in a hospital and the past two u/s's that I have had have sure looked like a girl! But you know with girls they are rarely 100% sure.
About me 2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
I really like Briar, but unlike pp's, I don't think it is masculine at all, probably b/c in Sleeping Beauty, they call Aurora Briar Rose while she's in hiding. Reguardless, Briar gets my vote.
Well, they're both cool; but Briar is just so different...so, I'm gonna go with Briar Landin (I assumed you're spelling it like your maiden name and not with the "y"? or did I get that confused?).
Why would she spell it "Landon" if her maiden name was "Landin" and the whole point of giving the child the mn in the first place was because it was her maiden name???
Brynn Landin. I think Brynn and Addison flow off the tongue better than than Briar and Addison. And, I like that your maiden name's spelling would not be changed.
Re: Which girl name...
ugh, brynn...definitely no to brynn for me.
briar would get the consolation prize since i'm definitely against brynn, but i don't like briar either.
so, neither.
I really love Briar!
I like Briar Landin the best
Brynn Landin
i love Briar but i think boy.
Brynn.
A briar is a catch-all name for several species of thorny plants. It doesn't seem right naming a child after a thorny plant.

I agree.
And spell it the way your maiden name is spelled. Otherwise, what is the point.
I prefer Brynn.
Briar Landin sounds too much like "Briar Landing," which seems like a neighborhood name in my opinion.
I like Briar a lot.
Brynn is cute, too.
Either way, definitely spell it the same as your maiden name. ?I really don't see the point of Landyn. ?Landin works great.?
