Is It too much?

My last name ends in "er", and I really like the name Connor for a boy.  Is that a little too much?

    I also have an -er last name and as much as I love some names that end in the same sound, I've thrown them out. I just don't like how it sounds.

    this. too rhyme-y. i know how much it sucks to throw out names you love, but this kid is going to go by that whole name his entire life.

    Me too.  It makes me sad, but I don't like they way it sounds at all.

    My last name is Humphrey, so we decided to rule out all names that end in the "E" sound. Sad, and difficult, especially when thinking of possible NNs, but our child will thank us.
