Rave: Splash Pad

I just found the Splash Pad (Sigler Park, 7200 Plaza St., Westminster) listed on an OC Parks website last night and thought I'd try it out now that it's heating up a little. It was so much fun, and my kids loved playing in the water. Trying to take them to the beach or pool alone is still a little too tricky for me, but this was a great safe place to take them both. Little enough for me to keep an eye on everything, but big enough that DD wasn't bored. Best of all, FREE! I came to write a post to say how much fun it is for a day outing, and then I see someone already posted asking if it was open below. Just FYI...it's open. And for anyone else who lives in a hole like me and didn't know it existed, it has two play areas right next to the water part, lots of tables and benches and shady trees. Definitely worth checking out.
