will JUST ONE benedryl affect my milk supply?
I really need it. I have fought off this sinus infection/cold what-have-you. I've coughed, my nose has ran clear and green. I felt great today, thinking I"m getting better and then, about 45 minutes ago, I started sneezing and now both sides of my nose are stopped.the.heck.up. There's no air going in or out. I can hardly blow. I'm dripping and I'm miserable. I was holding the baby and there are about 50 kleenes's in the little trash can that I had to bring in the living room so that I wouldn't throw yucky tissues on the coffee table.
Please say I can take one.

I've never noticed a problem when I've taken Benedryl. I actually take Zytrec year round, and I have never had a problem with my supply even though that's one of the potential side effects. Maybe my body is just used to it.... I couldn't make it through a full day without my allergy medicine though.
What kind of Benedryl? I've only taking the allergy kind.

it's the walmart version of benadryl kapseals.
It's equate allergy medication (diphenhydramine hydrochloride - Antihistamine)
relieves sneezing, runny nose due to allergy...
one capsule is 25 mg. It's the half pink/half white one with a red line around the middle. The adult dosage is 1-2 pills, but one seems to usually help me.
