NBR: How do you add a poll to a blog?

I started a blog on blogspot.com to keep my family updated. I have seen "polls" on other blogs (baby names, etc.) and would love to add one.

Anyone have insight?

    On the layout tab you select "add a gadget"

    You should get a list  of different elements you can add to your side bar. Poll is the 9th one down.
