What is your favorite girl's name
that starts with a "C". My name and my moms start with a C and I loved having the same initials growing up. Yeah maybe if we have a daughter she won't feel the same as me but I want to continue it. I'm thinking
Calista, Caitlyn, Coralei or Calissa

I love Coraline and like Calliope.
caitlin is cute, but spelled this way (without a 'Y')
other suggestions: cameron, chelsea, candice, chloe, christina, courtney...

calista is the best one but i don't really like any of them. caitlyn has wayyyy too many variations and is too popular and the other two sound/ look made up.

I don't like any C names except Claire and Charlotte, and those are 2 of my favorite girl names.
No offense, but personally I think a lot of the names suggested above sound like made up words, not names.

I'm always surprised by people suggesting Callie as a girl's name. My cat is named Callie (short for Calico), and the vet told me that she has a lot of other cat patients named Callie.
It's a pretty name, but I've now associated it firmly with animals and not people... Hmm.
