    We used it at 5.5 mos with avacado and bananas and now I freeze stuff and let him gum away at it.  Since P is toothless too he can feel like he is chewing on something!  Noah loves it.

    Did you freeze the avocado and banana or just put them in there fresh? So far, I've only put ice and frozen peaches. I wanted to try some thawed/fresh food but wasn't sure how it would work out.

    ETA: Caj... I started using it about 3 weeks ago and Sammie LOVES it!! She gnaws like crazy on the ice cube. I think it feels good on her gums.

    I put them in fresh and he just kinda scrapes them out of the mesh by biting down with his gums and pulling it.  I guess it just mushes out of the holes.  He seems to love solid food and figured out really quick how to get it out of there LOL!
