I like old fashioned names, but Stella NMS. I think it is cute though, just wouldn't be a name I would use.

I picture Elaine on Seinfeld saying, "Stellllaaaaaaa" every time I hear this name. Even if I didn't have that association, I don't particularly like it. It's not very... pretty IMO. It feels harsh. I don't think it's old fashioned, though, so if that's you're only concern, I say you're fine.

I really like it! It's getting a little too popular for my tastes, but I've always thought it was a great name

I prefer the full name Estelle, with Stella as a nn though

It's a cute name, but I fear it's becoming a bit too popular. I have friends that have named their purses and puppies Stella. One even changed her legal name to Stella! A favorite beer by a lot of people too!
