You would totally judge me. We got a ton of second-hand strollers from relatives and they are all looking pretty beat up, but they are clean and work great. Can't justify getting a new one just for looks.
However, I did get a really fancy new stainless steel dishwasher yesterday. Does that help?
I judge the expensive ones (in a negative way.) I think, what an effin' waste! I guess it's like anything brand name......so I really shouldn't judge (because I've got my "name-recognizeable" purses.)
We have both a pricey stroller and a snap n go. Guess which one we ADORE!! (my $40 snap n go. I LURVE it.)
Ugh. We took my older DD to a renaissance fair in Minnesota one year when she was still in a stroller, which was blue and WHITE. Despite taking every scrap of cloth off and washing it, and hosing the whole thing off, that poor stroller was NEVER the same. Gah. So now I'm paranoid and don't take Chloe's stroller anywhere that's dirty!

I have 3 strollers in my garage and after getting a few recs on it today I want the City Mini Jogger....just because. DH is going to love my new idea...I just know he will. He will. I know it. (I am convincing myself that he will say...sure go buy it. Get two if you want)

I bit the bullet and bought a Bugaboo 4 years ago, and it still is in perfect condition and will be used for another 4 years. All of my friends gave me sh!t about it back then, but have shut up since they've had to purchase multiple strollers and ended up spending the same amount as I did on the one.

You were at a Fair...I know when I am trouncing around in the dirt & dust of a fair my stroller takes a beating. I also live in the city & the stupid ass city squirrels ATE a hole in my Maclaren stroller...looked like sh*t but I still used it until DH bought me a new one. Also that stroller was stained (it was light blue & white) as hell....didn't matter how much I washed it, some stuff just stains...If I had a Bugaboo or some other stroller more than $300 then yeah, maybe I would be more careful w/ what what my kid consumes in it, where I stored it & drove it--but I rather not worry about it--LOL!

Re: I'm a stroller judger.
is it hard to talk with that silver spoon in your mouth.
Shut your mouth. I'm not talking dollar amonts for the stroller. I'm talking about the one's that were taken mud whomping and never hosed off.
Or the one's with cheese and boogers wiped all over it.
Blech.

We have our fair share of red-neck activities in the East County of San DIego as well.
These gross me out, too. It is really hard for me not to stare at them...kind of like a bad car wreck.
