  A play shopping cart.  I'm sure the little girl will be walking soon (if she isn't already) and she can push it and put stuff in it to her heart's content.

  DD (and me) loves her talking purse. They sell it at babies r us/toys r us for about $20. I also got a book called I Love You. It's a beautifully illustrated collection of stories.

  What I would like for my daughter to get for her bday in 2 weeks...

  PJ's (everyone buys her clothes!), books, color wonder, outdoor toys, a doll, a purse, money for her college fund

  i second pjs.  and dd loved these wooden puzzles with big chunky knobs she got from MIL.  i think they are made by melissa and doug.  she also loves her flap books, like Where's Baby's Bellybutton?  and a box of Elmo books with flaps.
