Cute baby shower idea

I went to a friend's baby shower today and the host had a cute craft project. Everyone got a onsie or a big to decorate with fabric makers for mom-to-be. Each guest had something cute to write or draw and it was a great way to give mom-to-be some extra essentials. Just wanted to share.

    Hi,

     That is a great idea! Another one is having each guest make a page for a scrapbook! I did this at a shower recently and it was so much fun; all of the stuff was provided.

    For those considering this idea, make sure you check the drying time on the supplies that you provide. My sister bought fabric paint and it took four hours to dry! Big pain in driving them home on a flat surface!

    We did this at my shower this weekend.  Now I am going to hang a "clothesline" up in the nursery to display them!  :o) As for the drying, my BFF knew it would take a while so she set up a table in the garage for them to dry on & I will get them from her later.

    Can you give me some more information about how they did the scrapbook pages?  We are wanting to do this for my shower, but we are at a loss as to how to instruct people and how to organzie the activity.  TIA.

    When I did the scrapbook pages, we were given a page and some stickers and etc that you would use to put on/in a scrapbook. There was also glue, markers and scissors to go around, especially if you want to sign the page. For example, I got the Halloween pages, two of them. Somebody else got the Christmas Pages, easter and etc or you do it per table. Find out what the mommy would want to have for at least the first year and I am sure you could do all the FIRSTs, teeth, hair, smile, etc.
