I have some BM storage questions -
1. I've been refrigerating my BM (in the lansinoh bags) prior to sticking them in the freezer, as I read that this is the best thing to do. I assume, then, that when my milk separates all funny (not into layers since it has a big surface area on top with the bag laying down) before I freeze it that this is ok?
2. Why can't I mix room temp BM with refrigerated BM?
Thanks. ![]()
Re: storage questions
1. My milk separates in the fridge and I freeze eat and it's just fine when I thaw it.
2. I don't know...my guess would be something about warm milk curdling the cooler milk? Which doesn't make sense b/c the warm milk is good for 6-8 hours...??
