Tierney? Theresa? Tinsley? Tamsin? These are all names I've heard but really none of them are my style. Just throwing them out there.
Yeah, most of the names aren't my style either. Theresa is old fashioned to me and the others are just.... wierd.
I like Tessa/Tori but they sound more like nicknames to me. This is probably hard because I already have a name that I'm in love with... and it does NOT start with a T

If you have a name that you love then maybe two should compromise and not use the initials theme?
I've been seriously considering this. Maybe letting him name our sons whatever (with some veto power - of course) because whether they are married or not their initials will keep with tradition.
Unlike our daughters (if we have girls) whose names would change once they got married.
I love the name Gracyn Estella (estalla is my grandmothers name).
Yeah, so maybe a compromise would be a great idea!
So does everyone in your husband's family have a name that starts with T? In my opinion, that's too many T's!
If you have a name you love that doesn't start with a T, I'd use it rather than choosing a name just because of a tradition. It's more important to have a name you love than to have a theme.
If you are certain about the "T" theme, here are a few. There are very few non-trendy girl names that start with T, though.

Yes, they all have names that begin with T. I feel like I'll be the witch who broke the tradition... But, I'm just not feeling it for a baby girl. Fine, he can go for it if we have boys... So, I have a sneaky suspicion that when the time comes that my mother in law will just have to give me the "evil eye"...
She'll get over it right?
I've already started to prepare dh for the fact that his daughters will more than likely not have a name that begins with a T
Re: Cute girl name that starts with T
Ditto! Trying to convince DH to use this if #2 is a girl

The one T name that I did like, Taylor, my niece has-LOL
I really like Tessa and Talia.
Also, Taryn is pretty.
Tinsley is cute and Teagan is ok.

His sister's name is Tenley. So, Tinsley is a little to close to her name.
Taryn is nice though.
