I was 11. I was at Linda Horten's house who was babysitting us while my mom was getting her tubes tied a month after my little brother was born.

I can't believe I am that old.

Only 11? Wow!

Mine was 4 days after my 14th birthday. I was home alone. My parents were at my brothers' summer ball baseball game. I totally freaked when I saw what was happening!

I don't remember the date at all. I think I got my first period in 6th grade (age 12), but then I didn't get it again for 8 months.

The next period came ~28 days later. And every ~28 days save for the 18 months I had the Mirena, my brief pg, and screwing up birth control pills.

I was 12 (6th grade), so that would have been 1994. I got the next one 15 days later. By 8th grade the Dr had put me on birth control to help regulate my rediculously heavy and frequent periods. I was on BCPs for over 12 years b4 we started TTC.

That sucks!

I didn't go on bcp until I was 20 when I complained to the doctor that I had too much vaginal discharge. He prescribed the pill to me, which in hindsight was just because I was 20 and in college and he didn't want me to get ku'd. Very wise, that doc, because only a few weeks later I started having sex "for real" with this older guy I totally fell in love with.

January 1992, 11 years old (a couple of months before my 12th birthday), 6th grade. I can remember squirming in my chair in reading class because I was leaking and needed to change my pad but I didn't have a hallway pass because I'd already used one that week in that class.

Mine was in the 5th grade, right after I turned 11. 1985. I remember hiding pads in my lunch bag and taking them into the bathroom since we didn't carry purses then. The bathroom also had no place to dispose of the pads unless you walked out of the stall and threw them in the trash. I hated that.
