Any type 1 diabetics out there?!?!

Type 1 diabetic here, on the insulin pump.  Just wondering if there are any other type 1's on this board. 

I'm 4 weeks pregnant currently!  Yay!  My last pregnancy ended in a m/c in February so we are hoping and praying everything goes right this time. Anyone want to chat just reply! 

Also, another other gestational or type 2's are welcome to respond, too!

    Hello and Welcome! ?Here's to a H&H 9 months to you! ?I have type 2 diabetes and DH and I are expecting our first child in about a month! ?We lost our first pregnancy last year at 7 weeks gestation! ?I am not currently on a pump (I am looking into getting one once the baby is born) but I am currently on insulin to control my sugars! ?If you have any questions, I am more than happy to chat with you. ?Another site that is great (I just joined it) is?https://diabeticmommy.com/?(there are some wonderful and knowledgeable women on that site!

    Hi There!

    I'm a type II, diagnosed at age 18, and treating for the last 14 years.  They switched me to insulin once I got pregnant and I'm considering starting pump therapy.  Do you like your pump?

    Yes, I do like my pump.  It took me a while to get over the whole "cosmetic" part of it....didn't like letting people see it, hid it whenever I could, etc...but after a while I accepted it and it's now a part of me!  My sugar control is much better than when I was on injections. 

    What was your A1C when you were pregnant?

    Hi! I'm type 1, and was diagnosed late (when I was 21 in Oct 2006). I was going to go on an insulin pump, but decided it was too much work while being pregnant as well. It's great if you were already on one! I have to take two different types of insulin, and it's a lot of work...
