s/o - My Two Dads

I loved that show!!!  BUT, how did it every fly?!?  The guys weren't gay, they were allowed to take in a teenage girl (who had recently given birth and gave the baby up for adoption, correct?) -- what an odd storyline.

The networks would slam the door so fast on a show like that today--do you agree?

    I don't think the girl they took in had given birth... I think that would be a little too risque for early 90's TV.

    Are you saying the daughter, Nicole, had a baby and gave it up?  Cause I think you're wrong.  Or I totally misunderstood the show.

    lol i totally agree. i guess it was that the mom slept with both of them? thats what i remember. did i make that up?

    No! Her mom died and didn't know which of the two dads was her real father. So, in her will, she wanted Nicole to live with both of the men, thus, she had two dads.

    Yeah, Nichole never had a baby.  Her mom died and didn't know which of the two was her dad - so she lived with both of them!  I think there was an episode where they took a paternity test, but ripped up the results because it didn't matter to any of them who the biological dad was. (but I wanted to know darn it!)

    Holy crap my kids took my smarts...I'm not sure where I got that from.  In my memory, Mayim Bialik, which I do know is wrong.

    So just scrap that whole thing!

    I thought their apartment/loft was super cool though!
