I had it in the beginning of my second trimester. They originally thought I might be getting bells palsy but it never developed into that. I went to the ER though because numbness in the face can be actually quite serious. I would tell you to call your dr. or go to the ER. The dr.'s were concerned about a variety of neurological things that can happen during pregnancy when I had it, but I refused the MRI because I was not that far along. I was watched all day, and then released into the care of a neurologist. It could be nothing, but it is better to get it checked out. Mine eventually went away a couple of days later.
I actually had this a little bit two days ago for two day. I called my doctor and they didn't seem too concerned and suggested it was something not related to the pregnancy.
In my case, it actually ended up being an allergic reaction to something I was eating. So I'm not sure what all your experiencing but it is good to call your doctor just in case.
Re: Numbness in face.....
Call your Dr., numbness in the face should never be ignored pregnant or not. It may very well be nothing but better to get checked out.
This. GL, I hope its nothing!
I agree... good luck! I hope it's nothing, but its much better to be safe.
