Pregnant after a Loss

Would you call the Dr?

I started to get pretty constant cramps this morning and while I was at a bday party.  Sort of felt like mild, uncomfortable period cramps.  They were nto patterned though.  I came home and laid down.  They feel better.  I am going to the store to buy a UTI test.  Should I call the Dr since they feel better with me laying down?

Re: Would you call the Dr?

  • I would take the UTI test first and see if you have one...then I would call.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

  • Got the test it says to hold your urine for 4 hours.  Um I have been going every 30 mins.  So next time I go I will do the test.  So if I get a no to the UTI then just rest?
  • That's probably what I would do. The cramps aren't getting worse are they?

  • 4 hours...dang I couldn't hold it that long either. If you get a no, I would just rest...unless you are really uncomfortable, then call.

No they are getting better as I lay down.  Even when I get up they are not as bad.  I am just scared.  Why can't this be easy?  I do not want to be that person who calls every weekend.

  • I am getting some pains here and there in my crotch (lightening crotch)
  • I've been getting that too! So annoying. If I were you I'd take the test and see what it says. If it's negative I would just take it easy tonight and tomorrow. Maybe call on Monday if it's still acting up. I really feel a lot better today than I did yesterday. I did read today that right now our uteruses (uteri??) are in a weird stage where they are very large and the ligaments are having trouble supporting it but it's not quite big enough for our pelvic bones to help yet so that is why it is so achy!

I will take the test shortly.  Thank you!
