  At my 30 week appointment, baby's head was measuring like 2 weeks ahead of my due date...so I have another sono on Tuesday, and she told me to have my bags packed just in case....ugh.

   Well that is exciting.  I was measuring 4 weeks ahead at that point, here i sit with a cervix of steel.  I figure if i pack my bag, im waiting until 42 weeks 1 day.

  "Cervix of steel"- you poor thing...I don't think I will go this early but we live an hour away from the hospital...so, I guess better safe than sorry!

  I packed mine around 36 weeks. I agonized over what to take, what not to take and finally decided if I even thought I would need it, to just pack it. Better to have it than wish I had.

  Don't over think it though... its better to over pack than under pack!   Just have a bag sitting in your bedroom and throw stuff into it as you think of it. It will make it a lot easier that way. I am going to start working on mine this week.

  You still have time. I really don't think you should need much for a hospital bag.

  I know how you feel.  The only thing I did do for the bag is buy a cheap pair of flip flops to wear in the hospital shower.  That's as far as I've gotten.  Baby is measuring very big and they are checking me on Thurs to see how much bigger he is compared to last time.

  my lil dude's head has been measuring 4 weeks ahead (no joke, it has been confirmed now 4 times) since 32 weeks and my doc has said nothing to me about it.

  finally i asked: "at what point are we concerned about his head size?"

  doc: "when you are in labor."

  me: "oh ***."

  that was literally our conversation about it. 

  so right now, his head is full term... i just need it to STOP growing, and let the rest of his body (only measuring a week ahead) catch up.
