LOL this reminds me of Hugh Grant in 9 months. An SUV is a cool mom car so don't feel too sad you could have gone from a convertible strait to a mini-van now that would have taken some adjustment.

Minivans aren't that bad. It's all personal preference. I LOVE having a mini van. Nothing beats the sliding doors! It's my favorite feature. HOpefully the next one will have the automatic sliding doors to make it even easier!
It is weird going from a smaller car to a "parent" car. We progressed slowly. Went from my Nissan sentra, to my Chrysler Sebring (4door) and now a Dodge grand caravan, though my preference would have been either the Honda Oddysey or the Toyota Sienna. The only SUV I really love is the Hummer and that's far too much money right now!

Nothing against mini-vans. They have a lot of particle features that most cars and SUVs don't . I think they are neat with all there sliding doors and the back seats that turn into tables and home electric sockets. It's the official super mom vehicle. It's a big change from a convertible to a super mom car though.
I draw the line at selling my convertible. I swear they can bury me in that car someday. DH has a great family car, so we're good. I'm sure someday though we'll upgrade to a SUV.

Same here. They'll be burying me in my GTI. Looks like DH is the one getting the new car.....
