stupid TI question

So we start clomid today (CD5), I have my u/s on CD10 and hopefully we'll trigger then.

When do we start having sex? When we were just trying without meds we were every other day from CD7-20 (based on dr. recommendation).

I'm afraid to start today just in case I overstim, but I'm afraid to wait too long too.

    I would wait and see what your u/s says, but if you want two days before that should be fine. If you trigger right after your u/s, then you have 36 hours after that point as well.

    I did my trigger in the morning so he recommended that night & the next night. We had sex Thurs & then Sun am because of family & friends plans that weekend. Sperm does last for 2-3 days but becomes slower as the days go on.?

    I would have sex 1 or 2 days before your u/s appt.     and then the nurse will tell you based on when you trigger when you should have sex.     they always told us NOT the night of the trigger, but rather the next two nights.   (i triggered at night those cycles).     so sex was 24 and 48 hours after trigger.
