    Its possible it was a firework/car backfire - but gunshots have that weird echo... I know because DH hunts.

    I could have smacked the sh!t out of her that night.  God forbid a criminal took off on a foot pursuit or started shooting.  She better be lucky nothing crazy happened.

    Oh, but it was OK becuase her DH was out talking to the cops. She has a right to know these things before they happen- der.

     

    People like her are the reason cops and other safety officials can not get their jobs done.  My blood is pumping again.
