s/o Getting tattoos to honor child

My friends husband got a tattoo on the inside of his wrist when his first child was born.  It's some swirley design and has his daughter's name in large, easy to read letters.  They just had child #3 and he hasn't gotten around to putting DD #2's name on his wrist yet!  Fun idea, but keep doing it for each child!! :)

    I like J+O's tat on her wrist.  DH wants TRISTEN on his arm going from his shoulder to his elbow but I doubt he'll do it.  I want Tristen somewhere but can' decide where.

    i got DS tribute tattoo after i weaned.  i plan to do the same when i wean DD.  could be easier said than done though -- life will be a lot different with 2U2 and i might not have the time that i had the first time around....

    We're done having kids, so I got my "for the kids" tattoo in January. I wanted one after Evan was born, but decided to wait til we were finished having kids first.

    I want to get Natalie's name and Birthday tattooed in a heart on my shoulder but I am afraid IF we have another kid I will be too chicken/won't want to get another one so I don't think I am gonna do a dedication tattoo just yet

    My dh has 2 sleeves, one is spawn (comic book) character and ds's birthday is kind of blended in to it, so you have to be looking for it.  I told him that he has to save room for his other kids, and his response (jokingly) was "they'll never know."

    I want to get something, but I don't know if I want to wait until we're done having kids and just get one thing for all of them, or get an individual thing for each.

    I got a pumpkin tattoo for my daughter [she was born late October and DH and I called her "our little pumpkin" when I was pregnant].

    I already had 2 though so it wasn't a big deal. I'll def get another one for our next child!

    My sister has talked about doing this.  Her last name is Starr, so she wants to do some kind of star design to represent her marriage and add a little star for each kid.  I'm not a big tattoo fan, and I would never get someone's name--but I think that it could look really cute if she does it right.

    Lurker comming forward- My best friend's husband got their son's footprints on his chest with baby's name and DOB.  It turned out really good and I am thinking of getting DD's footprint on my ankle with her name and DOB in a circle around it.  It will have to be small so I have room in case we adopt again.
