If I only have two options for wall placement of a crib, one being on the opposite side from the A/C vent and the other right under the A/C vent, which would be better? Note: I'm excluding the windowed wall to avoid the issues with baby hands meeting curtains.
Re: On the topic of A/C's and SIDS
I would place the crib on the quieter of the two walls. What is on the other side of the two wall options? Is there a ceiling fan in the bedroom? There was a study that showed a ceiling fan lowered the SIDS risk. That would help circulate air flow in room and keep baby comfy.
Here are some links to the ceiling fan/SIDS research:

I am completely new to all of this... does AC increase the chances of SIDS?!
Should I be diverting a vent away from the crib?
What about a heat vent (baby will be born in November).
