guessing gender in breech position

Just wondering how many of your babies were in breech position when you had your ultrasound and if they were able to still easily see the gender of the baby?  We have our big 20 week u/s tomorrow morning (YAY! SO EXCITED!!) and when I had my check up today I asked the doctor about if it might be harder to see the gender if the baby is in breech position like I suspect it is based on kicks I feel.  He said it could be more difficult.  I'll be totally bummed if we can't see.  Not that it's the end of the world, a healthy baby is much more important...but it will be disappointing since we want to know.

    Our baby boy is sitting breach and our tech was able to scroll down and see the gender no problem! DH and I were watching her progress on a TV in the room and before she could confirm anything I said, "Is that a penis?!?". She laughed and confirmed. No problems at all with our little man...he was more than happy to show the goods!

    That's what I really hope happens for us.  My DD was already head down by 20 weeks and I think she pretty much stayed that way.  I think I'm just so anxious and excited.  I'm literally counting down hours!  I know I won't be able to hardly sleep tonight cuz I'm so excited!  Big Smile

    Our lo was breech and the three lines were clear as day.

    Breech and no issues. Doc and tech both found it quickly and easily.

    YAY!!!!  Thanks for all the replies!  I'm so excited.  The tech that's doing mine tomorrow is the same one as my DD and he's a pro, no question.  So with your replies I'm feeling more confident that we'll be able to see.  YIPPIE!

    I had the big u/s at 19w2d and she wasn't breech, but I had to have a follow-up ultrasound on Wed. for a measurement that little girl wasn't cooperating on at the big u/s, and she was breech. The u/s tech did a quick "still a girl" check and she was able to see the relevant parts just fine. Big Smile
