DH went back to work today. :(

I didn't realize how spoiled I was until I went to the bathroom this morning and had to just leave her in the PNP and she started crying. Send me some good vibes. Thankfully my mom and aunt are coming to visit later so I will get to shower.  I can't believe how fast those 2 weeks went.

    When I had DS DH had to go back to work the day after we got home from the hospital.  He had vaca he could use, but the week before DS was born his boss got demoted and there were a bunch of layoffs, so he was scared to use it.

    2 weeks with him home would have been SO awesome.  I'm glad you got that time with him!!  :)

    I'm sorry!  You'll be fine - it'll just take a couple days to adjust.  There were some days I wouldn't shower until 1 or 2:00 - you just have to do it when the baby sleeps.  I found that I was able to shower if I put the baby in the bouncer right outside the bathroom.

    I'm sorry, it is a tough transition to taking care of them by yourself. Yay for your mom and aunt visiting.

    Time REALLY does fly!

    How much time do you have before you have to go back?

    ETA: Caroline fell right to sleep when I put her in the bathroom with the vent on and the shower running..she loved the noise.

    Sorry!  It is hard to be alone for the first time.  I'm glad that you'll have visitors today.  Hang in there!  You can do it!  Enjoy this time with your baby.  ((hugs))

    It's definitely a hard adjustment to make, but you can do it!  It's nice that you have family coming over to lend a hand.  :)

    Aww, you'll be fine!  When Layna was a week old, DH had to go to out of town for a week!  It sucked but we managed, and you will too :)

    I know!  Doesn't that suck.  This was DH's first week at work too.  We've missed him, but it didn't take long to get into a routine without him.  Of course, my MIL is also here to lend a hand so I'm not all on my own (kinda wish I were sometimes...).  I'm sure you'll get into the swing of things soon.  :)
