my poor vajayjay

i think i have poison ivy or oak or whatever all over my legs and up into sacred territory! i am so itcy and irritated that i havent' slept for 2 nights and have been using icepacks! and to top it off, my ob couldn't see me yesterday and they haven't called me back yet today to see if they can squeeze me in. my primary care is out of town. sooo.... i may have to go to the er tomorrow am. how nice.

any one else every have the pleasure of this?

    no experience with it (sorry - but thank goodnes).  I did have a really bad yeast infection last week and vagisil makes these wipes that are cooling and soothing and they helped a bunch - not sure how it would do with poison ivy or oak, but it might be worth a try.

    Ever since my best friends moved to the "country" i get poison something EVERY year :(  It's usually on my stomach though.  Sometimes it's terrible...blistery, oozy, gross.  The best thing for me was steroid shots or even better-prednizone pills.  Ask a dermatologist about it.

    I've never had it there.  I feel for ya! Ouch

    Oh no!  You poor thing.  I've had one horrible bout of PI, but it wasn't in that area.  My doctor prescribed Zyrtec...which is now available over the counter.  The Zyrtec gave me some relief, you may want to try that for some relief unitl you get to the ER.  I would take one in the am and one in the pm.  You are only supposed to take one a day, but I am bad...I pop pills until I feel better.

    Do you have a med check or immediate care place?  That is where I went the other day when I got a staple in my finger.  They are quicker and cheap at least with my insurance.

    we do have the med checks at like walgreens and cvs... i'm just not sure I want to let it all out at a walgreens :)

    i can't go to the ER until tomorrow because i have no one to watch the girls today.
