And various other soft foods. This is no fair. I'm already emotional anyway- I literally cried around 4:30 this morning because I just want to eat some real food!
And another crazy thing- I never (or very rarely) drink soda (even not pregnant) but now that I've been told I can't drink it, I am craving it!! WTH? Guess you really do want what you can't have.
Oh- I'm recovering from dental work in case you have to idea what I'm talking about. ![]()
Re: I'm so tired of jello and applesauce! :(
I'm glad you put that last sentence in there because I was lost for a minute. How long until you can eat regular food again? And why can't you have soda? I do feel for you...it is NOT FAIR to make a pregnant woman go without anything! I hope your recovery is speedy!
That's really not cool. How long can you not eat real food? Btw, now I really want some red jello. Between cake and jello, you always make me hungry.
LOL- yeah, glad I remembered to include why I'm only on soft foods. I can't remember how long I'm supposed to eat soft foods (today is my third day) but currently I can hardly open my mouth and I am so sore and swollen that I don't think it will be soon. I can't drink soda because it stimulates bleeding.
Yeah- a pregnant woman's nightmare not being able to eat real food.

That sounds horrible! My dentist is one of the skittish type who won't perform any dental work (other than cleanings) on pregnant women unless it's an emergency. Maybe too many of them called him in the middle of the night, crying because they couldn't eat solid foods and were hungry?
Hang in there!
LOL- yeah, that could be a reason! A hungry pregnant woman is no fun.
But it actually was an emergency, otherwise I promise you I would NOT have done it. Not a lot of meds AND no food? Yeah, I'd never do this by choice.

I knocked my two front teeth loose when I was about 20 weeks pregnant (accident with one of my horses...) and the liquid diet thing was so hard, so I feel your pain!
Take care. Dental problems suck. Your first real meal of solids will be awesome, I promise!! ;-)
