and "Congratulations... I guess".

2 of the fun comments we got at Target today with the twins.

i was proud of DH - he told the guy who said the "i guess" - "of course it's congratulations- what else would it be? We have another boy at home and we're thrilled!"

the other lady was just joking around, but still a very odd comment.

the fun begins!

    I don't even know what to say.  I just don't understand why people need to speak at all.  Why they feel the need to be clever when they should shut up or just say something nice.

    I'm afraid of the comments either way.  I know we'll get pity if we have 2 more boys, and everyone will think that it's the best thing if we have at least one girl.  I'm definitely working on comments to be snarky saying that we're happy either way, and would've been happy if the other happened too.  God gives what we're meant to have.

    I'm sorry...I hope you don't get worse. Some of the gems we have gotten... "I'd kill myself" "better you than me" "my condolences" "you're screwed"

    Yeah people are idiots!

    I got and still do get that comment.  We have three wonderful girls and I really could not see it any other way, eventhough I would love to have a boy.  I actually had the comment "Well too bad one of the babies is not a boy...so you could stop and not have any more kids.  You are going to try again for a boy...right?"

    Wow. It just never stops -- I thought it was bad enough with all the men saying to MH before the wedding "it's not too late to get out now" and disparaging remarks about marriage. I'm sure it gets even worse now. Why do people turn our biggest blessings into a mean joke?!

    That is just RUDE.  I so don't get people. 

    I hate when people make comments like that - I don't know why when you are pregnant or have multiples people feel like they can just about anything to you.

    One of my favs is well I guess your done since you have a girl & 2 boys now. (I am done with having kids, but that is nobody's business). You got 1 of each and a spare.  I just smile - but I am really getting to the point were I am going to say "Every child is a gift no matter what sex they are."

    Urgh - that so drives me nuts.
