When do you cross the line from "normal pg swelling" and "not normal, something is wrong swelling?"
My swelling has at least doubled (maybe even tripled) this week. Was in the hospital Mon-Wed for pre-term labor. Got steroids and did get my Procardia dose increased from 10mg to 20mg every 4 hours. But, I'm swollen now from my hips all the way down to my toes. I can barely walk right now (not that I'm walking much anyway-on bed rest). I cannot move my feet, only can shuffle. I kept showing my swelling to my docs and nurses in the hospital this week, but they didn't seem to think much about it. I have another appt tomorrow morning. Any thoughts?
Did have some pre-e concerns a few weeks ago, but only having trace amts of protein in urine. Bp is elevated for me (normally 100/60) and is now around 125/85 (keep in mind that I'm on A LOT of bp med with the Procardia 20mg). Some vision disturbances (black spots)...
