So I frequent the Baby Showers board, and people are always asking "Why can't I throw my own shower," but I've never heard anyone try to justify it like this:

"So I understand hosting your own shower is rude...because you are throwing a party for people to give you gifts. But isn't that exactly what a wedding is, a party for people to give you gifts?"

Apparently, people have weddings to throw a party and get gifts. Ick!

Tongue Tied Ummm okay. The entitlement when it comes to baby showers never ceases to amaze me! I thought weddings were to celebrate the joining of two people.
