Hi ladies! I haven't been around much lately since I'm on a doctor advised TTC break (due to these health issues). Today is my hysteroscopy--round one of my "surgeries." After today they will schedule the two others-- a D&C and a fibroid removal (with belly incision, not laparoscopic).
I'm kinda working myself up here now that it's only a few hours away. Has anyone ever had a hysteroscopy? From what I've read, sometimes they are painful and sometimes there's no pain at all. Any advice?
Re: Hysteroscopy in a few hours
Thanks tct! I was just looking at your chart a few minutes ago and I think it looks good. I'm pulling for you!
I have never had one, but I used to work in a surgery center where we did these procedures frequently. It sounds like this is just a diagnostic hysteroscopy, as opposed to an operative one, correct?
ETA: I did not mean, "just a", as if this was not an importanat procedure for you. I just wanted to clarify what you were having done before I told you more about it. Good luck.

Oh. no problem. I've been calling this my baby procedure since the other ones sound much worse.
This is just a diagnostic hysteroscopy with no anesthetic or anything. I'm glad to hear they are pretty routine. I'm leaving now so I'll let you all know how it goes.
