How hot is it?

The thermometer outside the kitchen window at my parents' house read 120* yesterday (it catches the sun directly).  My mom had to take a picture of it because we have never seen the thermometer max out!  I am so glad I was safe in their air conditioned living room!

    the high for us today was like 95 but that's not including the massive heat index and the horrible humidity!!!!  nothing like living in the south, as you know.  When I was visiting my family last weekend in FL, it was 105 w/o heat index and the humidity was worse there!!!

    Apparently there is a slight chance for today.  We need something tropical to actually get any rain though - but hopefully nothing too tropical!!!

    Wow, that's hot! What's the humidity like?

    It's a high of 94 here today with 43% humidity...ugh. I guess it could be worse!

    I thought when I got in my car and it said 102 degrees that was hot. Your 120 degrees definitely beats mine. Yuck!!!

    lol- it's probably going to be another monsoon the next time it rains. We can't get just normal weather here, can we?

    According to weather.com it's 94 degrees with 45% humidity. But it feels worse than that. My hair is completely out of control.

    This is my first summer in Houston and I am dying. I miss Oakland. ?

    The thermometer in my garage says 107...with the heat index it's got to feel hotter.  Gotta love Florida's humidity!  Where is the rain????

    86 (96 with heat index) but 70% humidity. Today is the coolest day we've had in a while but it sounds like I should be thankful to be in FL and not TX right now!

    I think they said it was 106 right now in Houston.... but of course the humidity makes it worse.  I was watching the news last night and they said we might have a small chance of rain (10%) today.  I was REALLY hoping we would get at least a few drops... we need something!!!  I tried going outside but I was miserable just walking to the mail box.
