Dumb question re: mattress pads.

I bought a mattress pad from PBK. It's waterproof and all that, but also quilted.

Now I'm all paranoid that it's too soft for the kid's bed.

Is your mattress pad quilted at all? Should I go find a cheapie that is flatter?

My mattress pads have the quilted pattern on them. You are going to put a tight fitting crib sheet over the pad so I wouldn't worry about it unless the quilting is really thick and excessive.....

Our pad is somewhat quilted and, with the sheet, it will be fine. I wouldn't stress to much about it. Now if your sheet doesn't fit over the mattress and pad, then I'd worry.
