i really need to MIL vent

today is fil's birthday and our anniversary.

ok, driving home and mil calls and asks if they can come over b/c 'FIL would really like to see DS' um, and she doesn't? why not say 'we'd like to visit?'. odd. i say 'of course you can, but he's ready for a nap soon' (which i think is fine, since it will take them about 40 mins to get here).

15 mins later she calls me again to tell me that they are not coming over b/c it's such a nice day that they want to hang out on their patio. WTF. i give up. they spend 90% of the year in florida. when they are here (in the same city as us) they barely visit. FIL will come over and babysit, but never MIL. the other day FIL comes to babysit and i ask MIL if she is coming too. her answer - 'no, i don't want to get up that early'.

fine, if you don't want to see your grandson that's your problem. i'm begining to think MIL doesn't like me that much. plus, i'm very laid back and she is super high maintenance (alway's has on an outfit with accessories, always in full make-up, always in heels, etc).

ok, i feel better. ahhh.
