We have the Johnson & Johnson's bedtime bathwash and lotion. Other toiletries I've bought are diaper rash cream and I've tried to stock up on basic first aid supplies and infant tylenol.
i got johnson and johnson's as part of a gift... i'll use that first and see how he likes it. i might get aveeno baby afterwards just b/c i love aveeno products.
Same here. Love that its natural, no harsh chemicals.
This. I've received A LOT of J & J stuff and I've hid it in my closet. I feel bad if I just throw it away, but I'm not sure what else to do with it. I dont' like the ingredients and know I won't use it.......
I'll probably use California Baby when she's tiny just because it's supposed to be really good in terms of not having harsh chemicals, etc. But it's really, really pricey, so I don't think I'll stick with it for long. I'm not sure what I'll try after that -- maybe Method.
We have Earth's Best, California Baby, and Method washes/shampoos - so we can see which we like best. We have some Method lotions also, and some Cali Baby diaper rash cream just in case (we're CDing so hopefully he'll never need it.) I absolutely refuse to use J&J products on him.
Contemplating the snow.

I am not sure yet, I got a lot of different kinds at my shower and I will try and see which irritates her skin.
My DD had and still has, severe allergy problems. I had to use the most sensitive skin formula soaps and only Dreft (even on our own clothes as she would lay on our chest and break out). She had eczema and we had to slather her up with Eucerine and hydrochordizone cream, it was awful!
And I could never, ever use that lavender stuff on her...that stuff REALLY broke her out.
Fingers crossed this next little DD won't be so sensitive!

We are using burts bees. They have a baby set for $20 at Target if you want to try it out without spending a ton! Plus, it lasts a long time because a baby doesn't need big globs of soap or shampoo.

take it to Target and get a gift card for it
Excellent idea! Funny thing is that...I really wonder if some of the items I got were from other moms who didn't use them!!

You might want to get some unscented bathwash/lotion to use at first - the J&J bedtime bath has lavender scent in it which makes it a little much for newborn skin.
My daughter has very sensitive skin with some eczema, and the J&J stuff was bad for her. We use Method body wash and Burt's Bees bubble bath every now and then. We do use the J&J shampoo and conditioner...the leave in detangler is the best we have found.
Johnson's. J&J body wash and shampoo (the detangling kind), J&J baby powder, and J&J lavendar bedtime lotion. Worked for DD, so we're sticking with the same stuff. I think that's it.
J&J bedtime bath & lotion...I love the lavender smell on a baby. We used it on my nephews and DS....But if he has sensitive skin like his Mama...cetaphil.

Ditto.
Just an FYI - Aveeno is made by J&J so basically same stuff...
