How long?

Sorry if this has been asked multiple times but I'm just trying to get an idea of how long I can expect to bleed for w/my m/c. How long did you bleed for w/your m/c? I started the full bleeding late this morning (after I posted that it hasn't shown yet).

I had three days of light bleeding before I actually passed the baby. After one really bad day where I passed most everything, I had another four days or so of fairly light bleeding.

I'm usually a lurker on this board, but since I've unfortunately been through a miscarriage I thought I'd jump in -

I bled for two days before I passed the baby and then bled for another 8 days after that. It was13 days after I stopped bleeding that I started my period.

i had a missed m/c and since i didn't start m/c on my own, i had it induced with misoprostal. heavy bleeding where almost everything past was 1 day. after that it was like a normal period for a day or two and then spotting for about 4-5 days. I stopped completely for a day or two and then some tissue that was left inside me found its way out and that led to another 3-4 days of bleedings/spotting. By about 2 weeks out it was totally over.

phew - what a process. As if m/c isn't bad enough...the toll your body takes...my goodness! thanks for the responses...

With my natural m/c, I bled 18 days, start to finish...spot to clot to spot.
