well i finished the book two nights ago and now i can't wait to see the movie.  DH does.not.want.to.go, so i think i'll go by myself on Saturday.  i heard that they changed the ending for the movie, i really hope not.

    I read the book over the winter and was excited to see it was going to be a movie.  A neighbor and I both read it, so we're going to see it when it comes out. 

    What do you think about who they chose for the characters?  I think reading the book, I couldn't picture Cameron Diaz as the mother, but she might surprise me.  :)  I also pictured the lawyer guy younger, not Alec Baldwin, again, I could be surprised.

    I read that they changed the ending, but I do not know how they changed it.  Honestly, the ending made the entire book.  You need to read 19 Minutes.  It is by the same author, and it is fantastic as well.  Usually I can figure out where the author is heading with a book, but Jodi is one of those authors that surprises me each and every time.

     

    Also....  If you were in DFW I would go see it with you.  Smile

    I also read 19 minutes and agree it's a fantastic book.  Very surprised by the ending too.
