About 50 pounds. But almost 20 pounds was swelling in the last month - crazy swelling!!! I've lost all of it now, and it was gone by about 4 weeks post-partum.
Mom to Megan(5), Bridget(4), Tessa and Annie (2) and Mary (brand new)
75 lbs, twin boys born at 36 weeks. I was 130 lbs pre-pregnancy and started to gain about 10 lbs a month but my dr was never concerned. She just wanted to make sure I was eating healthy...and I was...with the addition of ice cream every single night ;-)
I lost 35 lbs the first 2 weeks after delivery but the other 40 seemed to have settled in and made itself at home. Sometimes I worry about it and sometimes I don't.
Good question... I really like the reassurance I feel from having read this. I was getting freak a bit at my own weight gain... About 25 lbs. gained in 21 weeks. But seeing that some women gained more, and some gained less (roughly estimating, given their totals and my own half-way point), I feel much more on track.
I'm already up 35, and I should now be gaining 1 lb a week according to different sources so looks like I'll gain at least 50 lbs by the end (probably more)
I'm almost at 30 pounds- I have an appointment next week (I'll be 28 weeks) so I'm assuming I'll be around 30 pounds or more...I'm sure I'll be 40-50 once everything is said and done

I am actually still down about 4-6 lbs from my BFP.
I eat a lot and don't exercise much. I had a lot of extra weight around my tummy (PCOS) and I think they babies have just sucked that up! I was so sick for the first 15-16 weeks that I think I am just starting to gain now.
Since I was overweight to start the doc's have not been worried.
So far 20 lbs at 25 wks, I was overweight to start with.
Actually, neither my doc or Peri have every given me a range that I should aim for. They have both said that as long as the weight gain is consistent they are happy. I was expecting them to have some sort of expectations for me, but I guess as long as the babies are measuring well things are ok.

I gained 42 lbs. and gave birth to twins at 36w5d. I have *never* lost weight easily - so I was panicking a bit. Much to my surprise, I lost all my weight within 4 weeks.

Early on, I weighed about 3-5 lbs. more than the # of weeks along I was (so at 14.5w, I'd gained about 17-20 lbs.). I steadily gained about a pound a week, except around week 18 or 19 when I gained 9 lbs. in 2 weeks.
As of monday, we are up 43 pounds, but 9 of those were gained in the past 2 weeks and the doctor says its from the swelling that has shown up during that time. I lost 10 lbs from m/s and didn't start gained until 18ish weeks and made up for lost time. I was overweight to begin with and the doctor never gave me range or anything, he said a couple of weeks ago that my weight was looking great.

I gained 35 lbs. I was up 10 pounds by 16 weeks. I'm only 4 foot 10 so it showed very quickly! I had twins at 36w0d. DS weighed 4 lbs 9 oz and DD weighed 4 lbs 2 oz.
After 20 months TTC with PCOS, we were blessed with twins!
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
I gained 2 lbs by 12 weeks and then started gaining a fairly consistent 2 lbs/wk after that (though it was more the week of our Disney vacation!!). I ended up gaining 54 lbs total and had two healthy babies (6lb10oz and 6lb7oz) with no NICU time at 38 weeks.
About 55 pounds and delivered at 38 weeks - twin boys with combined weight of 13 pounds 4 oz. I lost over 40 pounds by 2 weeks after they were born. And... I eat more post pregnancy (breastfeeding twins) than I ate when I was pg.
I am up 7 so far and 5 of that was in the past 3 weeks. My OB told me he wants me to stay between 35-40. I eat like crazy. He said the weight will come soon enough, especially once I start modified bed rest at 28 weeks.

About 56lbs but like someone else said, the first 40 fell off within 2 weeks so I am assuming a lot of that was water weight.
