If you are the breadwinner & want another baby..

What are your plans?  Are you going to be able to have two in daycare or will it make more sense for your DH to stay home?  We want two more kids, one in the very near future hopefully.  With two in daycare, it is going to be very tough although we can manage hopefully. We discussed DH possibly staying home with the 2nd if he doesn't get the promotion/raise he has been promised for over a year now.  It is a tough one though.  DH's salary isn't great, but it would be nice to still have that extra money although most of it would be going to daycare.  Of course he would be putting his career on hold to stay home.  Part of me would love for him to stay home with the kids, but the other part thinks that would definitely rule out the dream I have of him finally getting promoted and making more $ so that one day I can stay home.

    Oh, and unfortunately it would never be a possibility for either of us to stay home.  I do make more with bonuses and profit sharing (although I'm no longer getting this b/c of the economy), but it still wouldn't be enough to justify him staying home.

    yes, BFN.  I will NEVER take a blue dye HPT again.  I got FIVE false positives/evap lines last week.  I really thought I was pregnant.  DH said I need to call the manufacturer and tell them they owe me one baby. Wink

    Yes, I seriously can't believe you got FIVE FPs.  WTF?  That's unheard of.  I seriously thought you were PG.  I would definitely call the manufacturer and find out what the eff the problem is with their tests!

    I currently make a little more money, and work a little fewer hours than DH.  (yes, I have an awesome job).  That will probably change in the future.  We are putting two in daycare and both continuing to work.
